Veterinary Surgeon

Linda MRCVS

Linda graduated as a veterinary surgeon in Milan, in 1996 bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinic.

Known locally as one of the most passionate vets in the area being highly competent with both surgical and medical cases.  Linda not only has incredible experience with dogs and cats, she has a wealth of experience in Exotics (rabbits and more!) having previously headed up an exotics-focused clinic treating a varied range of species, including birds, reptiles, and small rodents.  Linda has also had 9 years of experience working in a zoo but we can be sure she won’t be treating any Elephants here!

Linda’s hobbies include Hiking, Skiing, Fly Fishing, and Cooking.

Veterinary Surgeon

Miranda BVSc MRCVS PgC(SAO)

Miranda qualified in 2011 in Australia and worked at a mixed practice in Sydney for 5 years before moving to the UK in 2016. During her time in London, Miranda has worked in several independent, corporate and charity clinics before joining the team at The Animal Clinic in December 2023.

Miranda is a Fear Free Certified Professional and has also achieved a postgraduate certificate in small animal ophthalmology. She also enjoys surgery, dentistry and internal medicine.

Outside of work, Miranda spends her free time cooking, doing yoga, travelling and spending quality time with her rescue cat Peggy.

VETERINARY SURGEON

Nicki

Nicki qualified in 2003 from the University of Liverpool. She previously worked in mixed practice in Northamptonshire and Rutland before moving to southeast London in 2013.

Nicki enjoys both medicine and surgery. She has a particular interest in geriatric medicine and acupuncture which she has been using in dogs and cats since 2008.

She has a young Labrador called Maddie and 2 senior cats, Rodney and Trigger. In her spare time Nicki teaches pet first aid courses or is out running around after her children and Maddie!

Jill

Qualified in 2022 with the RVC and joined the team Jan 2024. Jill has a keen interest in dermatology. She has two dogs, two chinchillas, four degus and a family of wild foxes who she watches over.

Gemma RVN

Gemma Fisher qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2009 and since then she has become a fear free advocate. Gemma is interested in animal behaviour and nutrition. When not in the surgery she can be found at home with her family normally completing another course.

Clinical Lead Nurse

Natalie

Our wonderful Senior Nurse Natalie, joined The Animal Clinic team in 2021. Natalie has been working in the Veterinary industry since 2012, going on to qualify as a Nurse in 2015. Since then, Natalie has continued to develop her skills, carrying out further studies to become a Pet Bereavement Counsellor and obtaining a nurses certificate in anaesthesia. Natalie is particularly interested in general anaesthesia, analgesia and animal welfare.

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys reading, socialising and visiting the countryside. She also loves spending time with her beloved cat Charlie.

SENIOR NURSE

Leanne

Leanne qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 2017 and really enjoys medical nursing, especially exotic patients. She has a certificate in Emergency and critical care and small mammal nursing. Leanne is currently working towards my certificate in canine hydrotherapy. She has two crazy spaniels, a disabled dachshund, a cat and a naughty parrot, all of which are rescues!

Alice

Alice has been a qualified RVN for over 8 years. She has come back to the team part-time after having a daughter in June 2021 and enjoys consulting now. She has one little fur baby called Django, a 10 year old terrier cross breed.
Alice is still undergoing her Canine Physiotherapy Degree in her own time, juggling work, life and a 1 year old!

Polly

Polly started working at The Animal Clinic at the beginning of 2021 and started her career with the Celia Hammond Animal Rescue Charity back in 2018. Polly qualified as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2021 and has furthered her career this year by training to become a Royal Veterinary Nurse and has a keen interest in Cats and Rabbits.
A keen animal lover, Polly has 2 rabbits, a dog, an African pygmy hedgehog and a crested gecko at home!
In her spare time, Polly loves to travel to new places and spend time with her family and pets.

Lauren

Lauren is our Veterinary care assistant. She has a keen interest in all small animals but especially exotics (specifically reptiles). Lauren is hoping to get the hands on experience needed before training as a veterinary nurse. Lauren has three cats called Felix, Cherry and Nala and when not at work Lauren can be found attending live music venues.

Amber

Amber is our clinic manager and has been with the company since 2006. She started her career off as a veterinary receptionist and trainee veterinary nurse before transitioning into the management role. Amber enjoys working with her teams, and seeing them give their utmost attention and care to the sick pets and owners, plus also helping with the occasional cuddle for the patients herself! Amber loves horse riding in her spare time.

Hermione

Hermione started working at The Animal Clinic at the end of June 2024 working as a receptionist.
She enjoys looking after her own dog called Thalia and her local neighbours’ pets and visiting local zoos and animal parks.
